Woo problem solved! We can build a new dike now. If you want to be useful don't waste your time joining stupid groups on facebook. Get out and do something for a flood victim or donate money to the Red Cross.

01/17/09 - Dear Ticketmaster and Fargodome: Take your paperless tickets and stick them where the sun don't shine. AC/DC rocked. Let me say it again Ticketmaster paperless tickets suck. I wrote the fargodome gm an email this morning:
I am writing today to express my disappointment with the paperless ticket system used at the acdc concert. I showed up and was in line an hour early, outside there was masses of people walking from the east side to the west side because they were being told paper tickets west and paperless tickets east. Some event staff outside or farther away than 10' from the ticket door would have been helpful in getting people in the right lines. As I said before I was in line 1 hour before the concert started, we stood like cattle in the paperless ticket line for over an hour while the paper ticket lines ran empty next to us and the ticket takers just stood there and couldn't help us because we had the "premium" seats with our ultra convenient paperless tickets. What a crock. The opening band was off stage by the time we got to our seats. On the plus side we could hear their muffled songs standing in line waiting to get in and they didn't sound very good.
While I understand there were almost 22,000 people all trying to get in last night, what I would like to know is:
1. why the paperless tickets line moved 1/4 - 1/6 as slow as paper ticket lines and had less doors available to use?
2: Why segregate lines?
3: if you must segregate lines and the paper ticket lines are empty why can't paperless move over and use those lines?
If paperless tickets are the future and run like they were last night I know there will be a lot of people who will never step foot in the fargodome again.
